Our 5 Month old Scottie, Scrumpy play, or rather attacking our daughters ball. Sounds very fierce for such a bundle of fun. Lovely natured Scottie from Samstevever kennels in Cornwall.

  • Hi, apparently it is quite common, but our last Scottie didn't have one and as our Scottie is now over 8 months old her white ring on her tail is also not so noticeable.

  • Huge Scottie fan here for more than 40 years. My current Scottie is 7 years old and he is totally fit and looks and acts just like he always has, loves to play ball too. He also chases cardboard boxes, they slide so nicely on a hardwood floor and he can chase it for an hour! Scotties are the best, most loyal and most beautiful dogs ever. Have fun!

  • Now if you will excuse me I am going to force my mom to buy like.........50 puppies!

  • Scottie: me's vicious!

  • Typical Scotty, not content with a tennis ball, has to have a basketball !!! gorgeous pup :)

  • SO VICIOUS

  • Had a scottie when I was a kid, he destroyed all my soccer balls foot balls and basket balls.

  • This is so weird, I have a scotty who goes crazy when he sees a basketball, he loves it when i throw it and he has to run after it.

  • My Scottie, Spencer loves the basketball or any type of ball... Most definitely a Scotties favorite toy... found that out when my nephew came over with his basketball...forgot who the kid was....not to mention Spencer is a great defensemen!

  • Reminds me of a Scottie I had back in the mid-80's named Dandy. My son left his basketball laying in the back yard one day and it became Dandy's favorite toy and I had to buy my son another ball. Dandy would push the ball with his nose and shoulder in a dead run all over the back yard, like he was playing soccer or something. It was really funny to watch, and great exercise for Dandy.
