The Big One at Dover Part I, June 1995

After just one lap in the 1995 Miler Genuine Draft 500 at Dover, with Ward Burton leading, John Andretti's Little Ceasar's Ford breaks loose in turn four and collects Ricky Craven, setting off a massive wreck just behind the leaders that took out several strong cars, including Mark Martin, Ricky Rudd, and Terry Labonte. Andretti suffered an injured leg after slamming the outside wall hard. Watch also for the hard hit Dale Jarrett takes in the Texaco Havoline car. Mike Joy, Buddy Baker, and Ernie Irvan are there for TNN.

You know, I've thought about that, but I've pretty much withdrawn from posting classic race clips. What I may do, however, is start a separate channel with clearer versions of these clips so they don't interfere with the grids. I just need a bit of time to do all that. :)

During the replays, they didn't even point out how bad the impact was for John Andretti and Dale Jarrett. You can see Andretti go almost head on into the wall, then in the back when the rest of the field checks up, you can see #28 Dale Jarret go head on into Turn 4.

Thanks for sharing these clips, This was the year I became a racing fan, so I love going back seeing the coverage.
