I am not a Republican but I am a conservative. What the Dems fail to understand is that the free giveaways that Obama is pushing, only work as long as the money holds out. When you run out of other peoples money, and there is nothing left to handout to the masses, they will turn on him.

@IMPLR1369007 Are you a libertarian? If you believe in economic freedom AND individual freedom, libertarism is for you. Ron Paul is a great example of libertarian philosophy. Libertarianism is what classical liberalism used to be as taught by John Locke, Adam Smith, and Thomas Jefferson.

Even though their base is shrinking, the remaining are becoming more fanatical. Soon you will need to bring back troops from Afghanistan to stop roadside bombs and armed raids on abortion clinics and political buildings.

Hmm.. Pre-Bush+$3 trillion surplus. Post-Bush= $1 trillion deficit. Pre-Bush stock market=1150 Post-Bush=7700. Then there's the Iraq war ($800 billion- $20 billion to Halliburton).

And the 10 staff members Indicted / Convicted. Or 22 who resigned under suspicion. Or 5 whose nominations failed because of scandal (can you say 'cronyism?') No wonder he took more vacation time than any president in history.
