How to Pump a Longboard (cruising and slalom grooves)

Slowed down the clips on this one, to focus on how slalom pumps are similar to the natural open trail free-riding pumps, with no cones involved. Riders are Corey Moy, Dan Miszewski, Brad Jackman, James Peters, Skip Croteau, and John Stryker.

what's the deck and setup of that board at :29? that thing looks super pumpable

that was a one of a kind, RoeRacing 38" Foam Torsion Core. it finally busted last year as foam-cores are bound to eventually, especially with a guy like Skip cranking the hell out of it!

Hi commenter have a couple questions:

Do i loosen or tight my trucks for pumping?

I seem to be doing the right movement but cant get my board to pump fast my board is a landyachtz bamboo pinner plz help me tell me if this is a good board to pump or what can i do thanks guys for your time :)

When I first saw this video I had no idea how people could stay fast without pushing with the foot on the floor....now I can slalom pretty fast, and I can pump uphill and on flat without ever pushing ^^ for everybody who has to learn: just keep trying, try to imitate this video and as soon as you get the feeling that something has changed, you'll get it better and better.

you cant just start carving out of nowhere you need some soft bushings and good trucks or loosen your trucks

you need quick response turing
