  • I love the sound!

  • was actually blasting around an old emergency airfield called Fulbeck in lincolnshire the other month. these emergency strips were used for damaged bombers to land when considered too bad for mother base. as you may be aware, lincolnshire was dubbed bomber county during the WW2, due to its flat landscape being perfect for runways. seeing this footage sends you back to lincolnshire all those yeras ago. lancasters, halifax's, stirlings, dakota's, B24's, B17's....they were all there.

  • I've seen most of the air worthy B-17s today, and it has to be said that this particular B-17, Yankee Lady, is kept in absolutely immaculate condition compared to the rest. She looks positively brand-new.

  • Very nice smooth footage of such a graceful plane. Couldn't take my eyes off the screen the whole 10 minutes. Beautiful.

Love to see some footage of Fuddy Duddy like this (granddad was in the 447th BG) but Yankee Lady is gorgeous as well.

  • Ok would it be ok for me to steal the vid and make one with a sound track??If ya go to the Memphis belle soundtrack TAKEOFF Amazing grace dubs PERFECT
