Eric passed away on 8/10/2010, at age 28. He had no head injuries, no health issues, no drugs, and was not a Veteran. He just was unlucky enough to get ALS at age 20. It can happen to anyone. He fought the disease for 8 years, even attended college at Georgia Tech during the early stages. He will be missed. Especially by his family and friends. I am his father.

I know cancer is bad and all....but ALS makes it look like a cake walk.

My mother died of ALS. She was 67. My God, he's so young. We have to find a cure.
