  • what happened to Stepa? I can't find any official site / myspace account

  • I believe they broke up. A friend of mine, as well as a few more people on the internet, gave me this information but i've never seen it written in stone anywhere. They had a small demo EP released in 2004, but after that nothing happened and they vanished. If they announced it, it was probably on their website which no longer exists.

  • @detoxscission

Sad...i was hoping to check some of their new music.anyway, thx for the info..Any other similiar nu metal bands you can reccomend (i mean something less popular than korn/soad etc)? I suggest you to check Etched In Red, Adjacent To Nothing

  • I would recommend Lifer, Simon Says, The Deadlights, Factory 81, Atomship, Sinisstar, Endo, Darwins Waiting Room & Apartment 26. And I will check out those 2 that you mentioned.

  • could some one help me out and tell me what this song means?

  • @ReadyTwoFightBack ya it was always packed shoulder to shoulder, they are one of the few bands ever that sounded just as good live as recorded. Stepa was one of the few bands that almost made it big coming from our small town but had a dispute after being signed by interscope records and broke up. R.I.P. Stepa from Thousand Oaks / Newbury Park California

  • @aperfectfailyour did a Lot of people go ther to see them?

  • i Strongly recomend you Nu Metal lovers to check out QUARASHi's songs Stick Em Up, PayBack, Beat Em, and BaseLine, that group sounds like Limp Bizkit and Crazy Town, they are very famous in Europe but only very few people in the USA know about them. they sound awsome

  • @jbennz02 Ha! No shit eh? That's fucking sick! You'd better hold onto that. I love collecting obscure Nu Metal records, singles and EPs... lol Don't give it up on eBay. Some douchebag bought a legit, extremely rare Downthesun shirt for 4 fucking bucks. I would have paid up the ass for that.

  • @eyez558 Great to see a recent post!! ....im in iowa and in 2002 they stopped thier tour bus in clinton iowa, hopnshop a shady little 24 hour convenience store to gas up it had to been like 3am? but myself and the other two people there got to hang out and chat with them and they each gave us thier radio prom cd with the tracks Auarium and shine on it ! even befor their self titled cd came out i think!!? but they each signed them right then and there !! its cool having a little piece of history

  • @detoxscission Have you listened to their album from 2002? It's so great. I saw the last half of their show at Taste of Madison in WI 2002. You are right they just disappeared!!

  • @niccivicious blake not jesse sorry. my brain is in ten thousand places today

  • they went their own ways. i met them when i worked at ground zero in spartanburg. they came with hed pe and ended up staying in sc for 2 weeks almost. so i got to spend lots of time with them. jesse the singer went to do his own thing. shane the guitarist is still doing music. dunno what happened to the rest. greatesrt group of guys ever though

  • I miss them playing at the Teen Center Thousand oaks. Very good memories. Song reminds me of a loved one.
