98 corolla le vs. 2002 honda civic

Close friend (slyfuldragon): racing a white 98 corolla LE!!
on woodward ave. near dream cruise time.

I don't know what the honda had in it's car but sounded like intake and exhaust. could be more.

Another Friend was recording at the time.

K&N cold air, full TRD exhaust, and TRD tuned ECU. (at the time of this race)

that honda had carbon fiber hood and trunk, a tuned out electronic supercharger, cold air, and straight pipe exhaust.

HOW?! My 98 Corolla LE has the accelaration of a Freightliner, pollutes like a locomotive, has a NASTY rattle from the front fender, and bad rims! How can that thing win at anything!!!??
