Yeah, I totally know what you mean. Great reprise.

P.S. Road Salt Two is out and it's gorgeous. Check it out!

  • I've been listening to this album for weeks (just found out the band existed a few months ago), it's getting to be borderline obsession... is that bad? Haha, I haven't even bothered to listen to any other album yet.

  • @KhylerNevra

No, I think it's perfectly normal.

I become borderline obsessed with each new PoS album.

Eventually you'll starting feeling nausea, but I would not worry until you stay conscious. ^___^

  • I haven´t listened much to this band though being swedish myself and all, I remember seing them as support for Dream Theater many years ago and didn´t think much of them, but this is fantastic music and the singer is incredibly good!!!

  • @TheBassioso

You're right, Gildenlow is extremely talented and moving. Actually I think he's one of the best singer around, if not the best.

  • @Wis76 Yes, I agree, + he´s a great musician to. I could work with him anyday :))

  • @TheBassioso

Yep, It puzzles me how he could simultaneously play the guitar (in that way) and sing (in that way).

  • This is HIGH CLASS music!!! Wow! So much more than the usual mainstream stuff.

  • @Scirzo I'm in love with their last album: Road Salt One.

It's very different from Be, though.

  • I love this. So much. The beginning is all about "look at me I'm everything I'm all the fucking mountains I win SO MUCH, remember who I used to be, now I'm THIS!" with an underlying desperateness, like when you're running too fast down a steep slope. And then the insanity takes over, repeating the victory mantra over and over again until there aren't words, and then BAM!

  • MASTERPIECE

  • @KhylerNevra they are progressive in their experimentation, to be redundant, the very qualities you describe make them progressiveness, in my opinion.

  • This song gives me the creeps, especially when the violins start playing Imago's melody at 4.00. Every single times.

  • @3mptyLab I don't mind it as much and I'm looking forward to Road Salt Two. However, I didn't like Scarsick much. I liked a lot of the lyrics, but I think Cribcaged was the only song whose music I actually liked.

  • @KhylerNevra Yeah I know what you mean ;) Still, I don't like the new album at all :(

  • @3mptyLab Well, I don't think these guys can be called progressive metal. Hell, as of late, I don't know if they can be called progressive. I think they're just a band that plays music. They've explored just about every genre (from what I've heard) except opera. So, I don't think this is "true" progressive metal or anything, it's just music. Haha, it's a vague genre, I know. Well, this song, yeah, it has its genre, the band doesn't though. That's what I'm trying to say,
