how would you rate RCF 312A?! please help me decide if its a good buy! thank you

I think you mean you had the crossover set at 120hz not 120khz, lol. Plus you ought to set it at 100hz maximum because then the sub has less frequencies going to it that it really doesn't need to handle.

Looked at both those brands and didn't see any card that would work.. Probably because im not at all familiar with sound cards. i just ordered the 12inch rcf's last night. very excited.. Im going to wait on the sub.. sooo can you walk me through how to hook these up digitally to my pc laptop and mixtrack pro? or maybe there is no digital way of doing that? ( coming out of the mixtrack pro) there are 4 phono plugs coming out of the back of the mixtrack in case you aren't familiar with it.

ok so if im using the mixtrack pro and it has only rca outputs i guess to hook up digitally that wont be happening correct? How do you recommend i hook up the mixtrack (has two sets of rca outputs) to say some rcf 312a's

@saucesquatch i'd bight the bullet and get a really nice (midrange) digital in/out soundcard. something m-audio or presonis.

Hey there, i'm in the market for some rcf speakers and subs. what combo of sizes do you recommend for an out door venue.. also i have an hp laptop with the normal sound card. How do i get a digital sound out of it? the hdmi port ?? or what sound card do you recommend for a pc laptop?

@saucesquatch depends on budget and crowd size. say 300-700 people. i reckon 2 of those subs (RCF 4PRO 8001A) with 2 of the new top boxes (RCF ART 722A). they're the 12 inch tops.. with 2 inch tweeter. more than enough. they're punchy as. especially if they're only doing mids + tops, with those 4PRO subs doing the bass.
