Yes, I am in hardy zone 6b/7a here in the Nashville area and I'll probably plant them in the ground in early spring so they will have plenty of time during the warm months to establish themselves before next winter. I hear it's always good to keep them in pots the first winter or so then they will be more acclimated to the local weather conditions before they get put into the ground permanently.
