What goes up, must come down! The almost legendary SunroofCam is still fitted on Team Insaner's Rover 825i as they head down Stelvio Pass at speed. Filmed on the CzechWrecks 2006 banger rally.

Trust me, if you had driven it in a 20 year old Rover you'd speed it up too! It's a very long video at normal speed...

not sure - but the video was shot at the start of September in the early afternoon. Earlier in the day might be better.

yeah sounds good but you were driving on snow. two things 1. you couldnt have gone too fast. and 2. you must be fucked in the head to go on this when its snowing. ive been there before and yes if only it could be done without any traffic coming.

I once drove a part of the Stelvio while it was closed because there was to much snow on the summit. I had absolutely empty streets. :)

Great video guys. I did this descent a couple of weeks ago having joined the Stelvio pass at the top from the Umbrail pass.

I was there at about 5pm on a Saturday in mid-October, and it was very quiet. It's a bit of a risk at that time of year though - I was very lucky with my timing and had a perfect sunny day but I think that a lot of passes closed because of the first snows a week later!
