@danaboone1 I'm playing a 1953 Ernest Heinrich Roth fiddle with Prim steel strings in this video. Every single fiddle sounds different, though, and the type of string you have also affects the tone quality. The best thing for you to do is to go to a violin shop and play a bunch fiddles until you find the one you love. If it doesn't happen the first time, do it again or try different places. Fiddles sound different under your ear than they do away, as well. I'm glad you enjoy the video!

A beautiful rendition! What are the double stops you are playing? I have been practicing this tune since seeing your tutorial but I am just doing the basic notes. The grace notes and double stops make such a difference to the tune.
