Part 1 (of 5) of a bloggers-only interview with David Cronenberg, guest curator of "Supernova: Stars, Death and Disasters, 1962 - 1964". Rocketboom's Andrew Baron and a number of Toronto bloggers, including me, had Cronenberg to ourselves for about a half hour, during which we could ask him questions related to Warhol or the exhibit.
This video is the first of two in which Drew conducted a one-on-one interview with Cronenberg for Rocketboom. In the remaining three, the other bloggers got to ask the questions.
thanks for the upload. really interesting. :)

Thank you. I didn´t know that. I don´t think, you see this admiration in Cronenberg´s movies.

Cronenberg is just a big Warhol fan, he curated a museum exhibition of his work.

How on earth did you get him to agree to it?

Thank you for your answer. You´ve got a point, I think, but was that the cause they interviewed D.C. about A.W. ?

"By the way: What has David Cronenberg to do with Andy Warhol?"
Well, both have created works illustrating what might conventionally be considered human disasters. But whereas Warhol focused on actual disasters as they appear via the popular media, Cronenberg depicts imagined disasters (although he probably wouldn't himself consider them to be disastrous at all).
