  • this is just great!

lastely we can hear another revival of this song on radios, but i don't know what band made this one. thought it sounded like chris cornell's voice, but seems this is not from him.

if anyone know it, it would be great to share

  • the band is Uncle Tupelo, singer is Jay Farrar. Jay is now with Son Volt.

  • With all due respect, I think the emphasis needs to be placed on those who commit immoral and/or atrocious acts, regardless of their nationality.

  • The atrocities that ocurred on 9/11 do not justify the atrocities that our government has comitteted since then.

Shame on me? Shame on anyone who's not offended by what we did in Abu Ghirab and what we continue to do in Guantanamo and countless other "black sites" across the globe.

Or, does the fact that an American performs these acts somehow make it justified?

  • Greg Graffin said it most succinctly: "The masses of humanity will always have to suffer." Your government does not serve you. It serves itself. Every government does. It's just that in this country (the United States of America), by the people and for the people is supposed to mean something. It means nothing.

  • CCR classic

  • 911 Amercan

  • One of my favourite covers for sure.

  • @thesalinesolution “Patriot: the person who can holler the loudest without knowing what he is hollering about.” Mark Twain

  • @douglascblack and don't try that older than you've been alive crap with me, I am 51 years old.

  • @douglascblack How many friends or relatives did you lose in the Twin Tower attack? For me, it was 4 friends and 1 cousin. But I don't use the experience to foster hate and racists thoughts. Al Queda attacked is, not Islam. There were blued eyed blond haired German terrorists involved in the planning as well. So now are we supposed to hate white people too? Why don't we just hate everyone to be safe....

  • @douglascblack this song was actually about the wave of people who stood up against the Viet Nam war and the warmongers who stood against them. It's relevancy now makes me think of the Tea Party and their polar opposite ( the folks who call themselves "Progressives"). The idiotic idea that one side or the other is right and that compromise is out of the question is what will bring this country .

  • Wonderful thanks
