In his 7-part oral history interview, writer Seaman Jacobs (1912-2008) talks about starting out as a writer, for the Brazilian Pavilion at the 1939 Worlds Fair. After getting discharged from the Army, he wrote for the following radio personalities: Jack Paar, Bing Crosby, Ed Wynn, and Henry Morgan. In 1949, he made his television writing debut on the "The Ed Wynn Show." He continued to write for the following shows throughout his career: "Earn Your Vacation," "Bachelor Father," "The Real McCoys," the pilot for "The Addams Family," "F-Troop," The Lucy Show," and numerous George Burns and Bob Hope specials.
