@PhOeNiXpIoLe ... UNLESS.... you have a Russian and do not want to mod the bolt...
-
@roughinitoutdoors1 Tapco sells a bolt that has this mod but I dont think its worth the money honestly
-
@djrazha as stated in the video... a dremel tool is a very good option.

Nice video! Great advice. Much appreciated. I think I would use a Dremel for this.
What do ya'll think?

@MrRipper222 i believe you are referring to the extractor? which we removed from the bolt we were modding prior to modding, and then re-installed after mods were complete...

I am contemplating doing this to my norinco however I do have some concerns.i have read that this mod makes the first round eject upon charging the weapon.also,do I have to do anything to adjust headspace?

@shoobee101 This mod DOES NOT make the first round eject upon charging the weapon... and you DO NOT have to do anything to adjust headspace.

I was considering doing this but I had a thought. What if I only cut down on the part that makes contact with the magazine when the bolt is forward? That is to say, only sand down the back half. Also, do you have any issues with magazine play after this mod?

@GellyNose . ........ i have never had ANY problems with this mod... and also,,, bear in mind... this is how the bolts come from the Norinco factory on the "d" and "m" models of Norinco SKS rifles... watch my other videos...(the demos) you'll see... no problems..
