Quick sketch of a rose. I first lightly sketch out an oval shape and then start to add arc shapes in a spiral kinda way. Once I'm happy with the composition I start to add some detail to the petals e.t.c. Once the details are down you now need to erase all unwanted lines and marks.. and then go round it again in a heavier line or ink pen. Then add a little shading. This sketch will later become one of my rose tattoo designs.

  • @IoViAmo2 Nothing to do with the sharpness of the lead.. I use a lighter pencil for that.. Just a HB.. I should really be using one much lighter like a 5H...

  • @puppypoo12341234 lol.. I liked it... But thats what a real pencil looks like.. I would suggest to anyone wanting to learn to draw or whatever.. is to throw away your pencil sharpeners now and start using a scalpel blade.. But only if your over the age of 16.. Scalpels are very sharp kids!! You can get a much sharper point.. and you got to keep ya pencils sharp people!

  • @143kezz Amen to that! For everyones information.. I threw away my pencil sharpeners in second grade. Have used a scalpel blade ever since.. Should of maybe used a sharper blade for this tutorial but hey ho..

  • no that is a real artist there

  • WOW ! x <3 #

  • @puppypoo12341234 also sharpened that way so it comes out lighter, in case he makes a mistake.
