  • This is so true, I adopted a cat from the spca and I didn't have a choice whether she was vaccinated or not. I notice that on her medical history on her paper work she was fine until she was vaccinated. She was so sick when I adopted her and I think it was because of the two vaccinations she received, it took two weeks to nurse her back to health.

  • @attemptingtobehumble Thanks for sharing your story. It's hard for some people to believe that shots can make us sick. It happens all the time. A virus takes 3-21 days to manifest symptoms and very often you will see the animal get sick within that time frame following vaccination. Sadly some of them die from it. I'm glad you are a good nurse and your cat is well today because of you!!

  • I would love to hear your thoughts on this, I adopted a one year old great dane, the previous owners never had her vaccinated. I took her to my vet and they are trying to have me get her whole set of puppy shots, three sets in total I don't think this is healthy at all. they argue with me that she needs to have her immune system built up but I never heard of doing this with an adult dog. I haven't gotten her vaccinations yet but I want to have her spayed and they wont do it unless they do all.

  • No way! Danes have a very high incidence of cancer. All of those shots would not be good for her. Go to a new vet don't talk about her history and get her spayed. Just say she's up to date. Then go back after she's fully recovered for one vaccination. You can then wait a couple of months and have her titer tested to check her immunity levels against distemper and parvo. I'm sure they will be high and that will put your mind at ease. You are very smart to be concerned! @jellybonkerz

  • That's a ridiculous argument. If you are supposed to go in for a yearly checkup that's one thing. Over vaccination is another. The current recommendation for the core vaccines is every three years. Anyone who boosts more frequently than that, unless there are special circumstances, is over-vaccinating.

  • exactly!

  • My audio is out tonight. But I see another proof, nothing can ever love like a dog. STEMPY MUNSON has quite a story to tell re the SICKENING veterinary establishment.

  • Very true/interesting and fun and cute!!

  • I say NO vaccinations at all. There is no proof that trying to artificially stimulate antibody production with a synthetic vaccine that this will constitute immunity in humans or animals. For example we still have measles, whooping cough, etc et etc outbreaks in 100% vaccinated populations. Before mass inocculations were mandated world wide..immunological disorders such as Asthma, Hayfever, eczema & other skin disorders were virtually un heard of. Ohh and not to mention SIDS!

  • i have no chioce but t o over Vaccinate my puppie and dogs do to parvo virus. three pupps have died from parvo in the last two years

  • that was a very nice video thank you
