Playing violin version of Linkin Park's "Leave Out All the Rest" from their new 2007 album "Minutes to Midnight." Sorry it's a bit rushed on some parts b/c I tried to keep up with the piano. The bow's still kinda screechy... i think not enough rosin yet since it's just newly rehaired. so ouch!

In quite some parts, mistakes were made, not accurate enough

No offense...but either the quality of your camera and sound recorder is horrible, that's a really, really terrible violin, or you can't really play this right. I noticed quite a few position errors and song errors. However, I do believe that with a bit of practice, you can really get this. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I've been playing violin for a little over a decade.

smoother strokes, especially during high notes. Better finger control during "quivers" . You also put A LOT of force into your upstroke. Be gentle, and let it flow..like a hot knife through butter. Literally. Let the bow and the string become one...like hairs being braided and your sound will become a LOT smoother.
