@holg0051 It is actualy a real shaft turbine engine, the kind they use in helicopters. They had to physicly detatch it from the wheels or else it wouldnt be approved according to EU road regulations.

it's not fake and it works! it's just not allowed to be used, due to the noise the turbine makes.

I have watched this movie every single christmas ince i were born!(Except when i were born on xmas)

They actually tested this thing on an airstrip and got speeds in excess of 200 km/h which is very good considering it weighing over 3 tons. They figured it'd go about 350 km/h if they fired up the turbine engine, but they were afraid of turning it on cause it's such a big engine producing immense power.
