the costs are still rising and rising dipshit..companies are dropping coverage cause it's cheaper to pay the penalty than cover employees....and get it thru your thick bonehead that the public has rejected it out of hand..tuesday proved it..you pussies can cry all you want...and one more point..who was in control..who had the filibuster proof majority and still couldn't get it done? Dems ran as far away from Obama as they could....and now that sore loser has run out of the country.
Why not? It's all the rage with progressives. Everyone laughs off the slippery slope argument but when tied to government healthcare and suddenly having bureaucrats decide who gets care and who doesn' ,Great & powerful evil is here., read about the progressives. I beg you, please, do your homework on eugenics,in Canada, again the progressive movement, to help those people out who have no quality of life. just like the eugenics system did here in America in 1930s
A curious thing-- the House bill says it'll charge us $1,500/yr if we don't have insurance OR 5 years in Prison.
The constitution strictly forbids such a type of "incentive". There is no incentive like it anywhere in our society. I think those who voted for this went against their own Oath. They were to uphold the constitution, not trample on it.
A public option doesn't address frivolous malpractice lawsuits, which account for nearly half of the cost of healthcare.
Nor does a public option make healthcare less expensive. Instead of paying through your employer, you'll just be paying through the government. In fact, the deadweight loss generated by taxes will actually make it more expensive to consumers and less profitable to producers, who will inevitably go bankrupt. There will be nothing optional about public care at that point.
Look at all the hateful comments flooding these videos alone! The sheer force of conservative idiocy is such that it steamrolls liberals, and later our country.
Is it fine that insurance companies today squeeze money out of those who have had past ailments, even if they no longer are sick? Do their extensive ad campaigns help our economy at all?
C'mon, dems! You know what's right! We must FIGHT!

That is a lie by opposition of the bill. The house bill does NOT say that.
