If you use a Target Object Helper and set the camera to point at the object, and then do the keyframe -to- motion path you can get some really nice results in Carrara 7 Pro.
-
yeah, that has been my experience...the best results i have gotten with camera work have been with animating with keyframes, and then converting the keyframes to a motion path to smooth the motion, but its fickle at best!

yeah I agree with you!!! Carrara should also include (like in vue) an animation wizard which will make it easier to do camera motions more realistic but Carrara is easier to learn than 3ds max
-
what is good in carrara is that it can benefit a lot from multi processor cpu which reduce render times... Have you tested it in an 8 core (i7)?
-
yeah i was right because they don't look good in render..some objects still look toys and cannot be used in realism...I tried to browse for buildings but they don't look like buildings( they are really toys).carrara should update their library and should include animation wizard like camera movements (like in vue) and basic object animation and character animation for beginners....they should also include video tut when you install the program
WHERE DO YOU GOT THOSE PLANES??

@LuiDeca
They are low poly models that come with carrara itself

where did you got that planes for the browser library? I wanted a huge free 3d content (more professional looking not toy looking)in the next upgrade carrara 8 just like in vue and modo. They both have a huge ready made 3d content and professional looking. I browsed carraras library but still they haven't updated the files. I think that files were made from earlier versions of carrara
