@RareVDO Animals have the capacity for hatred, humans are animals too and our emotions are no different then any other animal. Hatred, Fear, Fight or flight. Elephants have graveyards and return to mourn the dead.

Wow, you're very lucky to see this in person and capture it. Looked like something straight out of something that's such a primal conflict between two different species. Animal behaviorist still don't understand why lions and hyenas go to war, even when it's not about food. Seems like a long remembered grudge from the past.
