These are some pictures from a mission trip the Lord had blessed me with by being part of a team from different staes who shared a comon interest... sharing the Love of Christ with the broken hearted. This was in 2007 when the fellowship i atten to was invited to join a fellowship from Boise Idaho to gather a team to encourage, minister too, and help the beautiful people of India. Thinking i was going to minister to them, I was minister by them. Seeing their love and total dependancy on God for their every breath had me examine my own life, and how i have it so easy living here in the states, while they strive to make it through the day. by Gods grace and mercy, full of His love, they endure the struggles, the persecution, and embrace the comfort that comes from above.
We traveled throughout southern India by vans, trains, planes (that only God knows whats holding them together in one peice), and stayed in every destination no more then 2 days as we moved through the villages while we visited orphanages (some which the kids were HIV/AIDS infected), and lepers were we were able to build a long pathway, plant coconut trees, supply them with custom made shoes (since some have lost most of their feet due to the leprosy), huge cooking pots, and shared the gospel. As well as supply the needs of the orphans with school supplies, and finances to sustain the facility. I also had the previlage to share with the persecuted believers that gathered together from surrounding villages in one place, that ultimately made me realize that no one here in the United States can say they have been persecuted till they hear and see the ones who truely endured the pain for the one who took their pain on the cross of calvary.
May the Lord continue to reach to people of India and raise up a generation that seeks HIs face.
May the Lord bless you, and keep you.
