Gyratory System: Cargo Cult

Gyratory System are famous session musicians and long-time collaborators Andrew Blick (trumpet, programming) and his father Robin Blick (woodwinds, brass), also known as Blowpipe; plus James Weaver (bass, synthesizer) and Laurie Waller (drums). If that sounds like a strange instrumentation to you - wait until you've heard their music! They are one of the most fascinating and innovating bands of our days, combining elements of jazz with a bagful of samples and everything modern electronic offers. Their album 'The Sound Board Breathes' is due for release in October 2009 on Angular Recordings.
