Hey everyone, welcome to part two of our Final Fantasy Anthology walkthrough. I want to first say that due to how weirdly FF6 is setup that the battle scene is actually cropped a bit. Battles use a different aspect ratio then the world map does, and the city scenes use another ratio different from both of those. Because of this there is some cropping going on during battles and in the world map.

Due to this there may be some choppiness to the videos from Vegas. I noticed this a few nights ago when it took 12 hours for it to render out 8 walkthrough parts because each part was taking an hour and a half to render. I traced it back to this aspect ration issue because it is actively restructuring the pixies to fit the 16:9 AR I use in all of my walkthroughs, thus it takes way longer to render the footage out and some rendering errors happen (like the fps chopping).

I am not sure of the extent of what might happen because of this but so far it seems to just be some spontaneous lag in specific areas of the videos.

We start out the game following the progress of three soldiers traveling through a winter gripped country in pursuit of something called an Esper. Together with a mytersious girl, two Imperial soldiers, Biggs and Wedge, make their way to the town of Narshe where the Esper was found.

When they arrive they find themselves less them welcome. However the guard is powerless to stop the Empire's powerful Magitek armor. We find out during the first few battles that the girl with them can also use magic, a rare gift in this world.

The Esper was found in the mines behind the city so that is the groups final destination.
