In this special, two-part episode, author Mark Christensen discusses his new book, "Acid Christ: Ken Kesey, LSD, and the Politics of Ecstasy". We examine Kesey's background, legacy, and fascinating artistic trajectory. A must-see for anyone interested in the man, his work, or the mercurial nature of creation.

  • The film was not about the glories of LSD, the cameramen were NOT on LSD! BUT, they were amatures. The generater was seperate,on the back of the bus, Neal Cassady did not affect the speed of the generator. The Bend in the River is correct, he got one right! He didn't get the reason it wouldn't work right, Ken wouldn't need corporate money for it! Why can't this guy get at least 25% of the facts right?

  • Just cause this Bozo said it does NOT mean that was what Ken was like. Probably the opposite. Ken did not want to be God. Ken did not want LSD as a sacrament. The movie he filmed did not star himself. Ken did not want to be Jesus! It was ffilm not video tape!!! It was not forty miles! only 2% of the movie was Ken. Ken never said let there be light, the movie was about Ken Babbs and The Merry Pranksters, mostly about Neal Cassady. K He has nort stated one fact yet!
