@jammybizzle66 and @DickLodge68 - you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. The Breeders are on par with, if not better, than Pixies. Pod and Last Splash are both sonic perfection. Kim Deal is amazing.

@jammybizzle666 Even as erratic Santiago was as a "lead" guitarist, Kim Deal turned out to be the weakest link in the chain which was my point. Sure it's great to have a girl in the band but her voice sucks and she's only marginal on bass - which is a fairly easy instrument to play! Just my opinion, but that's what rants and raves are for.

@TheWorthyApes I remember when the Breeders first came out...own the first album. "Cannonball" was their "hit"....sorry they suck....Kim Deal was the weakest link in the Pixies and her having her own band was even worse.

eh...I saw them twice. This is a good version of the song....but face it - they suck live. Boring as hell and had no stage presence at all. The one time they open for Primus (pretty unknown then....even Les got the crowd going) and the RHCP. Pixies were a let down. What has Kim Deal done for you lately? Joey Santiago? David whatever (good drummer btw) It was just Black really. His first solo album and you can't go wrong.
