There must be a lot of money in it for Microsoft to include all the bloatware.

thay need to relize that we just what one thing only not that extra garbage that thay load you down with mainly demos

No problem. Just stick it on your WIFES computer to see if you like it! Actually my wife complained when things were moved around from before but now she is used to it and then some. Actually, that was more a Office 2007 thing, not a Vista thing.

The biggest problem that I have with Vista is all the bloatware that comes with it. I takes about a day or so to uninstall all the demos and get it running the way you need it.

thats pretty cool you have the very same laptop as i do but mine is a bit newer i have my free copy of windows vista on mine 2 gigs of ram and a 120 gig hard drive when i bought it it only had 512mb of ram and a 60gig hard drive lol well take care lol

i did all the work myself it had windows media center 2005 on it so i bought all that stuff - windows vista that was free but the hard drive and ram cost me money lol
