i started printing at a new shop a year ago and they dont even care about this stuff.. they expect me to print 1 to 10 color jobs with dull squeegees, loose screens, horrible graphic design, and extremely picky customers. its very frustrating on a day to day basis and this is a large scale shop with automatics and manuals (i run an automatic). im glad to see someone who cares as much as me about the "science" behind printing

I have tried to help out so many employers in my day with advice and equipment at cost and they almost always do not want to learn new things or buy better equipment. It takes a certain personality to realize things can be done better, faster, and with more consistent results while reducing labor costs. My motto is “eliminate all variables”... great vid as always thanks a lot and well im i newb at screen printing i just starting in fact i just got a press and may be a dumb question but what is the derameter of the squeegy? and what does it mean in terms of screen printing

@tpvajgert Thank you I'm glad you liked the video. Yes, what you are referring to is called emulsion over mesh or EOM. Generally a 5% ratio is desired. With the 110 mesh I used in the video here I am getting about a 7% ratio, which is not bad at all. But in the end your stencil thickness should depend on the print job.
