BANKING ON HEAVEN is an unflinching look at a cult of Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints (FLDS). The polygamist communities of Colorado City, Arizona and Hildale, Utah are home to a culture that routinely practices child rape, welfare fraud and systematic mind-control. This is the cult ruled over by the recently-convicted monster, Warren Jeffs. An unholy trinity of sex, power and wealth are at the dark heart of this deeply troubling story.
Ex-polygamist-turned-filmmaker Laurie Allen and director Dot Reidelbach used hidden cameras to capture the real FLDS story. Excerpts from BANKING ON HEAVEN and interviews with film participants have been featured on Larry King Live, Court TV, America's Most Wanted, Anderson Cooper 360, Dr. Phil, Good Morning America, and many more media outlets.
BANKING ON HEAVEN features exclusive and explosive interviews with Elaine Jeffs (Warren Jeff' sister), Carolyn Jessop (author of "Escape"). Jon Krakauer, Ed Smart, attorney generals of AZ & UT, and many other insiders. Their hair-raising testimonies are the equivalent of dropping a match into gasoline.

I agree with you. And I hope Warren is enjoying being the belle of the ball in prison. I have a feeling he will be very popular with the inmates and his dance card will be overflowing.
The Ruth spoken of in the book Escape is(was) a "sister-wife" of the book's author,Carolyn Jessop. The Ruth shown in these clips from this movie was not from that group of women,. Her last name was Cooke, not Jessop. I think Ruth is a fairly common flds name for a girl.
And BTW, Utah and Arizona are Republican states, not Democrat. Republican Mormons are cultish, not Democrats, and powerful Republican/Mormon legislatures in Utah and Arizona have been enabling polygamous criminals for nearly a century.
Utah Mormons spend tens of millions of dollars fighting gay marriage all over the United States, but do NOTHING to help tens of thousands of women and children trapped in polygamy in Utah.
Jennie is referring to the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price, et cetera. Fundamentalist Mormons and the mainstream Mormons all read and follow the same books. Period.
The FLDS LDS both revere the same man who started Mormon polygamy - Joseph Smith.
At 1:45 Jennie (escapee) is wrong about "the LDS and the FLDS go buy the same books" They broke off long ago from the LDS church. They practice polygamy, if anyone in the LDS is found to be practicing polygamy they are ex-communicated from the church. The FLDS drink tea and coffee, the LDS don't. The FLDS wear old style clothing, LDS wear modest 21st century clothing. Sorry I just wish people would understand there are many differences between the two religions and not to confuse them.

May they both rot in hell.
