Dolly can sing any song from any singer and hit it out of the park!!!!!! she is so amazing!!!!

She has that great vibrato to her singing and I love when she justs talks the lyrics with that smokey drawl.

I always thought it was one of the better performances of the "pop standards" segment on the "Dolly Show", which was, quite frankly, a hit-or-miss affair (and something Dolly herself was never entirely comfortable with, as she said in her 1994 memoire; songs like "Someone to Watch Over Me" featured melody structures that were not really suited to what Dolly does best). But this Duke Ellington classic was simple and straightforward enough to allow enough of Dolly's own character to come thorugh.
