IU - Best Live Performances [HD]

Alright, I'm going to lay it down. I wouldn't consider myself an IU fan, BUT I highly respect her as an artist. I think she does some of the best covers and her musical and vocal is truly impressive. It's just her actual songs never excited me. I LOVE her old song "Mia" and if she continued to put out great songs like that, then I'd love IU more, but her songs like "Good Day" and others were never what I expected from her. Sigh. IU is still great though, so here's some of her best lives from over the years.

Just to add, there are also IU's other best performances, e.g. Almost Lover, Lucky, I'd Do It All Again, Like A Star, her performance at Play with Us concert with Yoon Sang (I don't know the song tittle) and many more. Well, since am an IU fan, there are many of my fav IU's live performances :-)

I love your videos, but I disagree about IU "selling out". "Good Day" was very different from songs out at the time. If anything, I think "Marshmallow" was a sort of "sell out" song, cuz of all the cuteness. And right after "Good Day", she came out with REAL+ which, again, had songs that weren't the norm (including my favorite song from her, "Cruel Fairy Tale").

@kurayamidesu You're right though. They're not exactly the typical K-Pop sound, but I do think that her newer songs were never the same quality as "Mia". Oh, but I love the performance for "Cruel Fairy Tale", but the song itself has the potential to be great, but something is lacking and I can't put my finger on it, haha. Thanks for the compilation. I think i agree to your point. IU should be better known with her musical talent rather than her appearance and dance being cute. But LOEN probably needed something easily appeals to people for IU to fly off in her early career. Considering that nowdays' Korean pop is dominates by idols that are 'designed' by compamies, not a trueusicians, I think LOEN did a pretty nice job with her.
