  • Critical tips.

    1) Better understand your consumers and what they are consuming; it's no coincidence that Suster stressed talking about commercials and prodded about why Shelby.tv is adverse to ads. (You have to remember that commercials are content too.)

    2) Listen to Mark about cutting down on the "hyperbole" (~1:18:50). Some of this word garbage is the entrepreneur's equivalent of Broca's aphasia.

    3) Also, enough with the 'athlete' jokes and references, it's time to get a new writer.

  • This video is less of a discussion as it is more of a coaching session.[Which makes for a great episode.]

The most overwhelming thing I picked up, and maybe Suster is calling this out in his critique, is that Reese Pacheco does not come off as very well read in regards to the video presentation space nor (very importantly) media consumption behaviors.

  • Did anyone else think that Reece doesn't like to take advice or that he was being sarcastic when he said "Bravo" on Marks last comment. I know he was taking some heat but be humble and take advice for a veteran who spends every day in this space talking to the influencers this guy is trying to reach. Great job Mark I totally agree with you and I think Reece does to but he doesn't realise it. I hope Reece takes on your advice. He is definitely drinking from the Koolaid! :)

  • 1:07 - love it. Thanks, Mark!

  • Awesome episode! Did I say this was awesome? Please do more like this. Thanks to Reece Pacheco for taking the heat from Mark! March on to the dawn gentz!

  • loved the last 20 minutes of the episode. great conflict. i think suster is 100% right. fantastic advice. will re-watch from time to time.
