Do you have to take careful steps in Ice speed skating? i do inline speed skate n i just like dash through the corners since it grips so much.

Your start is bad- - try opening your knees a lot when you stand on the start line so the hips face forwards - and you need to push your hips forward more with each kick off - open your toes and knees- your blades are too parallel, so they slip back on each push- lead with the heels as you step forwards.
