Kiko - Brazilia ( Sesame Flyers 2011 Theme Song ) Latest
After a Cinderella introductory year in the Soca industry, Kiko (formally known as Kiko Dan) has already upped the stakes with his brand new release. With the blessing of Sesame Flyers, Kiko proudly presents "Brazilia", Sesame Flyers official 2011 theme song.
The track came about as a passing conversation between Kiko and the song's producer, Tony "The Mad Architect" Brown. Kiko, having played in Sesame Flyers steel pan band for many years, had a fleeting idea that his long time association with the band should not see a theme song go undone. "It was such a passing moment when I said it, but most musical ideas start from that passing moment in an artist's mind", states Kiko. That short conversation would instantly launch both artist and producer into full creative mode, with the result being a sure crowd pleaser for Sesame Flyers' masqueraders on Eastern Parkway.
"It's great to watch him prosper. It is also great to see an artist who is getting a huge buzz so early in his career, not forgetting the people he came up with. It's also wonderful to see him give back to them in such a meaningful way. Sesame Flyers seemed very please," states Tony "The Mad Architect" Brown.
Brazilia is also the name of Sesame Flyers theme for this year's West Indian American Day Parade. Their presentation surely does capture the essence and the spirit of every carnival, with a special emphasis on the beautiful mas of Brazil.
Since his introductory track, "Chip", Kiko has had a steady release of music, including "Caribbean Girls" which has garnered him much attention on many internet and terrestrial radio stations across the U.S and Caribbean. His ever growing performance resume, music releases and presence in the soca industry have many giving him the nod as an artist who is here to stay.
If you would like to get this song for free, there is one simple way. Play mas with Sesame Flyers for Labor Day! Mad Architect Music and Kiko will be giving the song away for free to all registered members of the band. You can hear more of Kiko's music wherever digital downloads are sold.
