You two have the idea. The Philip Glassian sound leaves one teetering on a tight rope of feelings. Consider a slightly slower tempo to give the chord progressions more weight. I suggest you add bass notes with an acoustic bass guitar. Consider switching the music transcribed for the guy playing the electric guitar to an acoustic guitar player. Using the electric guitar for a few single notes with an overdriven sustain might provide the icing on the cake.

This is awesome. Great job guys. Im sure you are the one who did the transcription? Have you got the sheet music to share? I always felt that Glass should compose for the guitar one day, i guess this is a alternative

Yes we did the transcription by ourselves by just listening to the record. We skipped some parts though because we could't play the four parts on just two guitars..thanks for your reaction!

hmm I'm not totally happy about this version. We should had played it a little faster and louder. Next week I'll post a better version and also the first part of string quartet 3 which I like even better than this piece.
