RFTG Mugen Special #1: A Tribute To 134Alex134

This is my first video under my new username (and my newest one in seven months' time)! This time, instead of jumping into team battles right off the bat, I have decided to do something different: a tribute to 134Alex134, a man of immeasurable skill and unequalable aggression as a Mugen player. He is to Evil Ryu MB by MystikBlaze as guys like qwerwgrebew and ch3eky are to Reu's Evil Ryu (rest in peace, Reuben Kee).

He and I have always had an interesting history. I first met him through an angry comment that he posted on my Fagat test run video. He and I seemed to get along pretty nicely after that (after we settled in and started talking about getting the best versions of Evil Ryu MB), but he eventually began to think that I was just trying to leech assorted stuff off of him (which, in retrospect, I was, without realizing it; I also asked for his Thanos of Titan 1.1 by CPoC and Splode (which is actually the old, early version of the char, and not an AI-patchee), and his custom, modified "Breakers' Revenge" screenpack (designed to work with WinMugen, originally by Inverse)). In effect, I ended up beginning to speak badly of him to many of the people that I knew within this community. And, as a result, he never gained friendships with many of the more critically acclaimed kings on YouTube (although his underappreciated abilities definitely deserved them, and he did get quite a few underground buddies).

It is kind of like the Kool Moe Dee vs. LL Cool J battle from 1987-1991 (although ours was nowhere near as popular). He was the KMD in this situation (he had more skill with the chars that he took the reins as, but used more of an old-school video making style), and I resembled LL, in that I was more popular, and had more videos under my belt, but had zero, to NO, mastery of the creations I demonstrated. And, like how KMD thought that LL was "biting" (ripping off) his style, it must have seemed to him like I was trying to steal his, and I blindly was. But, now, like Mai Kadowaki, I take off the rose-colored glasses of sunshine, butterflies, flowers and cute, hokey, glassy-eyed 1930's-1950's cartoon characters, and realize this unfortunate truth.

I now realize what a mistake it was to get on his bad side and not take things smoothly while dealing with him. If you are reading this, I apologize sincerely, and want greatly to be your friend again. I don't hate you any more.

This video showcases his two hardest chars (under the control of the AI), Evil Ryu MB and Charlie MB by MystikBlaze. I have already showcased them in past vids, so there is no need to describe their traits (134Alex134 is the master of this). I set the battle to Kool Moe Dee's "The Best" rap from his 1986 debut solo album, because of the allusion/metaphor I used earlier, and because his truly is "the best" with the characters that he uses. Hardly anyone was playing with them before he jumped on the bandwagon and began to demonstrate their full potential (his Aerial Raves with Evil Ryu MB are pure poetry in motion, IMHO).

If you want to see TRUE genius, godly technique and crazy, insane skill on a level with the Capcom lords, then look no further than this guy. He may not play with the uber-buffed-up Shotos, but his classical flavor more than makes up for it. If there was such a thing as rating vid makers on YT, then he undoubtedly, sincerely gets a 10/10.

The default percentage of health has been set to 300%, and both chars fight at maximum power throughout the battle.

All matches are AI battles set to Level 8, unless otherwise stated.

I know what you mean. In retrospect, it was very foolish and unnecessary (also very elite on the humorous side of the equation). But I've grown up a year, so I have gained more knowledge, wisdom and understanding, hopefully. :) I hope that Alex still plays Mugen nowadays, wherever he is account or life-wise. <:-)

I recently downloaded Mugen from the internet with more then 220 chars and lots of stages, I'm now starting to work and decifer the Mugen world.Adding New chars etc... I just need a new and bigger pc monitor to watch all the chars select boxes.thx again 4 ur info.
