The keyboard has to be plugged into some sort of midi "interpreter" if you will. If he's playing the 88ES, this thing can only output midi signal, nothing more than note+velocity+length held. Hopefully this clears up something.

I have problems with sound coing out of my computure i have the kb set up to the cp and have softwear called cakewalk creator no sound is coming out of my board. what i am doing wrong

To reply to you for him(He can feel free to add on or delete my post and replace it by his own if he wants to :) ) this is a midi keyboard-controller, it NEEDS to be plugged in to a computer to work, the keyboard makes no sound of its own, it cannot even be connected to a speaker. So in short, he has to connect it to the computer where he's free to record whenever he wants.

Hi great playing. Do you have a sustain pedal and what is a good piano bench. Im on a limited budget right now though.
