FOTJ Opening and Tatooine - Meeting Anakin

This is the revised opening for my re-edit of the Star Wars prequel trilogy into a single story of Anakin's transformation to Darth Vader: Fall of the Jedi.

What I've done is trimmed away all the details and events of the blockade of Naboo. You just get straight in there on Tatooine with the queen and Qui Gon. No handmaiden in disguise surprise, the bare minimum of Jar Jar, no yippee from Anakin, no protracted wagering with Watto and no podrace. This was the hardest bit to take out but really it's only there to explain that Anakin's a great pilot.

It might seem like sacrilege to some but it's more a case of attempting to turn the highlights and relevant details of all three films into a working movie.

I guess if you must try, then I say go for it. Even though I loved all six movies, I will say that people can try to remove the cheesy lines and make the plot more straight-forward without the in-between stuff.
