Cronkite speaks what we need to hear. There must be more love, intelligence and understanding in the world. Less fear. No wonder he was called the most trusted man in America - people could sense his rightness.
-
Cronkite is wise, talking about the most important subject on the planet. To those who don't understand how vital this is, start THINKING and learning how we must best deal with all the world problems. Cronkite is totally right.

Hey Walter... if it is a peaceful organization... why does it need armaments? Are the soldiers and politicians morally and ethically superior to those of sovereign Nations? And if so, how were they selected... perhaps we can use those methods around the world and make the UN completely irrelevant you mental midget.
Classical Liberalism is superior to your Global Socialist World Federalism or perhaps we should just call it what it is... Imperialism with a happy face.

Uncle Walter Cronkite: "The most-trusted man in America"? Hang the fat bastard! Save a noose for Jane Goodall, & another for Ted Turner.

Ya know - the punishment for treason is death. Give this fool a fair trial and hang him

The person Cronkite is speaking of at the beginning of the video is obviously U.S. President George W. Bush who, as it appears, thumbed his nose at UN "authority" and the world concerning the invasion of Iraq. This was of course a false-flag operation and W. Bush is in no way anti-UN. He has called for the creation of a UN global standing "peacekeeping" army and during his two terms as president has helped to build the UN into a world government just like his father did.

For me there is no doubt we must move forward on the goals laid out by Mr Cronkite and the affiliated groups. I'm not convinced that most others in the world see the need for it. Perhaps the most important video needs to be made detailing the increasingly lethal threats we all face.
Mr. Cronkite is wrong. The United Nations has not only proven itself to be a huge waste of time, money, and resources but from its inception was founded to be a World Government built and animated by socialist principles. The UN is certainly not a "peace" organization when it supports dictators, terrorists and collectivist thinking and would unleash a hell on earth if allowed to become what its creators intended it to be.

How can the UN be guided towards the founding principles of the US:
- Representative government (power of the institution resides with the people under a constitution that also protects the rights of minorities)
- Checks and balances amoung the branches of government
- Peaceful transfer of power at changes of administration through political action, not military action
