NO SE COMPARA AL KARATE JAPONES SHOTO KAN, LOS MOVIMIENTOS SON MUY BURDOS , LAS TABLAS SON MUY DELGADAS Y LOS BLOCKS BLANCOS SE VEN QUE ESTAN PREPARADOS, LOS KOREANOS NO TIENEN HUMILDAD, SON UNOS PAYASOS.

I'd say any martial art can match another because you can't judge a martial art you can just judge the martial artist.

Because i train both, i cannot say which is better, but i can say that tae kwon do and karate are realy the most spiritual martial arts, but i wouldnt dare to compare them which is better.
I think for good fighter you have to do both + some grapling like judo or hapkido.....other grapling i dont know what is good.
SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

wow.....
You are allowed to punch, to the body only. Your allowed to kick with shin to the shield, but thats ineffective, I mean, I've done that multiple amounts of times and have winded opponents, but its nothing unless its on the scoreboard. Hitting with the foot to the shield makes a louder sound which gets the point. Its a waste of energy trying to knock someone out all the time, its much more efficient just getting points and winning. However, the kicks still hurt, and you can trust my word on that.

Of course the Taekwondo they use in the Olympic Games would be ineffective in a street fight. But who is to say that Olympic fighters will fight like this on the street? If anyone thinks that TKD is weak, then I suggest you go into a fight with a TKD fighter, with Olympic rules. Its not as easy as it seems.
