Monty Oxymoron (The Damned) goes mad at an audience member

A bloke throws beer onto the stage, and Damned keyboardist Monty Oxymoron gets a bit annoyed about this. My camera ran out of memory before he got really angry after the song and explained the person who did it had been ejected.

How very punk.

I saw Dave Vanian lose it once in '98 at burnley mechanics. Throughout the gig the band where being pelted with beer. They stuck it out for most of the gig but during 'eloise' dave got hit with three plastic glasses full in succession, snapped his mike stand in half, clenched his fists screaming at the throwers - FUCKING C'MON!!!! before curtailing the gig. Patricia then threw glasses at them.

Whoever says they aren't great anymore are wrong. I saw them recently and they were amazing!.Tons of energy, musicianship and showmanship. They still got it.

I recall his gig, twas funny Monty throwing a wobbler. The damned give as as good as they get, but he is a loose cannon and not what you expect from a keyboard player. Me thinks he should have read the small print before joining. Shame about those old punks who've seen the band sooo many times that they feel the need to bore the rest of us with...they ain't as good as they use to be...now fuck off.

Aw I like Monty, I think he adds a lot to the band's sound.

I saw The Damned last night and he flipped out at a woman who spent the ENTIRE set shouting "SMASH IT UP!" like they were "some sort of jukebox" (Monty's words) - he even interrupted a song to tell her to shut up (and Sensible offered to play it next if she'd leave afterwards).
