Stephen Rea made this film great. When he wiped tears from his detective professional face. That got me to finish watching it.

I remember this movie, it's *VERY* disturbing. Sick to think it really happened. Had I seen this guy in real life I would have killed him myself.

This is such a great film. The humor could not be more subtle. It has great a pace to it. five stars all the way.

@ratustaupus Although it is noble to look into something as being over-stereotyped for the sole purpose of entertainment while mangling facts, I am afraid you are wrong in this case. I have lived in the Soviet Union, and the movie is quite accurate.
