Sounds like my husband's ITP. He was to the point they couldn't find platelets. He had it 4 out of 5 years (year 4 he was on pred for poison oak - that's why we figure it didn't show up). This was over 20 years ago. He had his spleen out and it seemed to take care of it. Then he had signs again and it came back after all. So the last couple of years he's been dealing with it again. Glad to hear Benatar is doing better. I didn't know animals had this problem. Hey, say hi to your folks for me.

awwww I hope she makes a full recovery. Have you thought about using puppy pads for benetar to pee on. They sell the large dog puppy pads at walmart, pet smart, etc
