@hobotzcarandco Agreed. So in that tomorrow, we can only expect to see more of this. Islamists throw acid in women's faces. How proud a people! No shame on that people. Let the world see them repent, then maybe they may win an audience in the court of world opinion once more.

One of the dumbest things in USA law is the rule banning cruel and unusual punishment. It should be permissable to the point of an eye for an eye.
There was a splash and go robbery not far from where I lived - Throwing hot coffee into the face of a cashier to rob the store- permanenty disfigured people and affecting vision. They did this multiple times damaging lives, but because it was not a gun offense they got off on lighter sentences.
I always felt they should know what they did.

One might suspect that Katie Couric or Rachael Maddow might report on events like this. Perhaps with the likes of an outraged Gloria Steinem as guest commentary.
But since it would be difficult to tie Obama to such an event in a positive light, it simply goes unnoticed. They obviously have more important things to do.
