@frontlinebassist777 -- Let me get this straight. You are calling people "dumb a---es," yet you can't spell "divinely" correctly? Twice in three lines you misuse the possessive pronoun "your" when you mean the contraction "you're," yet you dismiss members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as "idiots"? Christ said that he who calls his brother "thou fool" shall be in danger of hellfire. I hope that you can repent of this bad attitude.

@StephenTheNom. I am also singing it for a comp. in the version I am using it has less accent. But that could be directors choice. Oh.... and good job

impressive guys, i am singing this song for a competition coming up and you made it sound awesome.

this is a beautiful song no matter what you believe

@FAITHandLOGIC Sorry to generalize, but I was trying to reply to two people at once so my reply may have assumed more about your comment than you intended.

@joelharm I didn't say they couldn't sing it. Though, this hymn is associated with the return of Christ at the last trumpet (1 Thes 4:13-18). Most mainstream Christians, as well as LDS, teach the immortal soul doctrine which basically says that the soul departs from body to be with God upon death. I disagree with that assertion.
Great job though. The Mormons have amazing choirs.

@nimox57, @FAITHandLOGIC - A hymn doesn't have to be written by Mormons for Mormons to fully believe in what it says and sing it. One of Gordon Hinckley's (a past church president) favorite songs was "Amazing Grace." Plus, classics like "How Great Thou Art" and "Onward Christian Soldiers" are in the Mormon hymnbook.
