Ottawa is a football city! The CFL and the city should get their act together now that we have serious solid management! I'm ready for some football!

As an American supporter of the CFL I disagree. The Argo's are to ingrained in Toronto to see them go. The NFL wouldn't work in Canada.

It will happen this time,as the Gliebermans and Horn Chen aren't involved and those opposed have lost their law suit against buildng a new stadium. I only hope that the C.F.L. can get a tenth franchise too: Moncton,Halifax,Quebec city... someplace. London nearly got a team in 1973,but the guy who was bidding for a team got mad when the C.F.L. asked for a paltry $500,000 fee to Hamilton besides the $2,000,000 fee already agreed to,so he cancelled plans for a 35,000 seat stadium and the team.

Very much a CFL fan here in the USA... Very much looking forward to the new Ottawa franchise, as I have friends in the city. Would be great to take in a CFL game in Canada's capital

I know a lot of people who like football. (I live in Ottawa of course.)

We lost the Lynx, but then again. Apples and Oranges.

No one in Ottawa really liked the Lynx, they couldn't get anything together. It's like are affiliates only had us for the sake of a minor league team.

They didn't care about us, they wanted to move the Lynx the second they got the chance.

I hope the city of Ottawa doesn't screw up with the next football team when they get it. Like all of the other teams we have screwed.

i don't think a merger is a very good idea, but i would like to see the leagues play exhibition games against each other.
