If race was a factor then they should be tried for hate-crimes for nearly killing the white victim. Laws aren't made to "keep the black man down", they exist to keep violent crimes from happening. Some compare the treatment of the Jenna six with the students who hung the nooses on the tree. Though their actions are inexcusable, they were far from physically attacking someone to near death. Give the Jenna 6 a fair and just trial, but do NOT let them go scott free.

Whites are quick to give statistic on blacks who are incarcerated. This is why we have a large population of blacks in prison. We are the minority and how come so much of us are in prison. It's because of people like Walters Reed.
